Austin Vagabond Program is your ticket to fun in Texas! It's true. Our motto is food, friendship, and fieldtrips, which amounts to lotsa FUN!!!

If you like to travel, enjoy good foods, and want to meet new friends, why not join our Austin Vagabond program?

This Program is directed towards those who just come to Austin and want to get acquainted with their new surroundings while building genuine friendships with others. There is no hidden agenda!

We'll show you what's cool to see and do in Austin and Texas in general.

• Watching sunset from a cliff on Lake Travis.
• Eating the best authentic BBQ in Texas at its original location. Most people don't even know about this place.

So what exactly is the program?

Basically twice a month we will group together and visit famous places, landmarks, and restaurants both locally in Austin and other Texas cities such as San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas.

Each month we will have one long trip outside Austin and one short trip around town. Long trip is roughly a day long (6-8 hrs). Short trip is about 2-3 hrs.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Transportation is free. Food cost depends on your appetite :)

Q: I'm alone in Austin, should I come?

A: Absolutely, you'll meet new friends at each events. This is exactly why you should come.

Q: I didn't come on the last trip, should I still come?

A: Off course, this is the time to start havin FUNNN!!!

Q: What should I bring?

A: Yourself and a happy face. Oh and don't forget to wear some clothes of course.

A: Hmmm, let's see.... Last time there was a guy drowning in a caramel pool... a lady overeating and have a stomach ache from non stopping laughter.... yes, I guess pretty safe.
